Ajisen

This Japanese franchise eatery is first started in Singapore in November 1997 with its very first outlet opened at Parco Bugis Junction. Until Year 2008, it has successfully opened a total of 13 outlets islandwide, including the new outlet which opened at Changi Airport Terminal 3 just recently.

Ajisen’s slogan is 安心，安全，健康, which means Relief, Safe and Healthy. In other words, it aims to create food that enables customers to eat without much worry. Basically, it provides a wide variety of Japanese delicacies, ranging from ramens, sushi to dons and other side dishes. But it tends to focus on its ramen choices for which it is always popular for. As you can see in the photograph shown below, there are over 15 kinds of ramens you can choose from. If you are not certain about which ramen to choose, be bold and go ahead with trying each and every of the ramen choices, because I assure you that all of them

will taste just as delicious. So, what exactly makes these ramens that tasty? Well, it’s the soup base of course. Unlike ordinary ramens, Ajisen’s ramen soup base is thick enough with a distinctive taste that suits our taste buds (not very salty). Whenever I dine in at Ajisen for a bowl of ramen, I will always start slurping the soup and this eventually becomes addictive. To the extent that I thought I’m going to swallow my spoon -_-"

If you were to dine in at Ajisen and want to have a bowl of ramen, I would recommend you to order the set meal that consists of a bowl of ramen of your choice and a drink (hot green tea/ice green tea). This set meal would cost you about $15+ at most, including the 10% service charge and 7% GST. Still thinking it’s expensive? Well, if you don’t mind drinking the plain water that is always served when you dine in, just order one bowl of ramen of your choice and this would costs you about $12+ at most (also including the service charge and GST).
